About The Book
Written in easy to understand
language with a minimum of
technical terms it is not intended to be a
textbook on Marine
Air-Conditioning but a
helpful reference for the owner or
captain
when things go wrong.
It is about sixty pages long
as of now with no complicated
graphs or formulas, just easy to
follow tips on getting things
working again. Anyone
with a screwdriver and voltmeter
can
follow it and if you do
get into
trouble you can always email
me
for support.
It was published by me on my
computer in response to the
calls I still get from old
customers who want a second opinion
when faced with high estimates
from other companies.
Over
twenty something years in the business I was
privileged
to
be trusted with hundreds of
millions of dollars worth of
boats
by
owners and builders alike
and
made a lot of friends along the
way.
It would be a waste if this hard earned knowledge
wasn't made available to those who need it so here it is.
It is a work in
progress
as I can't remember everything and gives you,
the
reader,
the opportunity to contribute your own story of
"The
Service
Man From Hell"
If you have a tale of mis-diagnosis I'd like to hear it
and maybe
add
it to the book or the site, after all, that's what
friends are for.
